Thank you to everyone who attended the 2025 Chrysalis Centre Conference brought to you by Reflective Practice held yesterday at Rothamsted Enterprises. Well done to all of our amazing speakers who spent their time sharing the latest research, insights and best practice into domestic abuse perpetrator interventions, whether in intimate partner or familial settings and to all of those who joined us and took part.
The theme of the day was about developing The Chrysalis Centre into a centre of excellence in perpetrator interventions. It was clear to see that our incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate and experienced providers have achieved this goal through their world class suite of perpetrator interventions.
Thank you to Hertfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner Jonathan Ash-Edwards for the keynote speech on the importance of perpetrator interventions in Hertfordshire Police and Crime strategy when tackling VAWG.
Thank you to Jake Neller for an excellent overview of the RSMS DAPP (Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme) and for the incredible work you and the team have done to develop our service offering.
Thank you to Natalia Sokolova and Alasdair Robertson for the insightful presentation on the evaluation of The Chrysalis Centre, showing how it is reducing the number of DA incidents and much more. This demonstrates how its approach not only enables access to effective interventions, but well and truly reduces the number of DA incidents as well as creating value for money. More insights on this to be shared in the coming months!
To all of our speakers at One YMCA, RISE Mutual CIC and Sarah Griffin (from The Change Project), Amanda McIntyre (from The For Baby’s Sake Trust), Dr Jenny Mackay, Nicola Graham-Kevan for sharing your time, content and in many cases an overview of your life’s work. Truly inspiring!
Last but certainly not least, a massive thank you to Dr Sarah Lewis DCrimJ, MSc, BSc (Hons), FHEA for hosting the day. Your insightful questions to our speakers, thoughtful and reflective manner kept us all engaged.
Special shout out goes out to my amazing Red Snapper Managed Services colleagues for keeping the show going and supporting the delegates throughout the day Cindy Mann, Chris English, Adam Crossdale Assoc CIPD (especially for snapping our pictures throughout the day!), Ciara Placentino ,Lee Eifflaender, Hardeep Roud (congratulations on being the first Chrysalis Centre DA practitioner of the year!), Jonathan Hussey and the amazing Chrysalis Centre staff who work tirelessly to ensure we deliver an amazing service.
If you couldn’t attend this years conference there will be another one next year, and if you would like the slides from the day please contact steff.edwards@rsg.ltd.
For all of us at Reflective Practice and RSMS, thank you to all who joined us and well done in creating such positive outcomes in the DA world.
