At Reflective Practice, we know that the heart of effective criminal justice work lies in learning, reflection, and connection. Every day, practitioners across probation, prisons, youth justice, and rehabilitation make decisions that change lives — and they deserve support to keep learning, growing, and staying well.
That’s why we’re excited to launch our 12-month Practitioner Webinar Series — an interactive learning journey designed to build confidence, sharpen practice, and support wellbeing across the probation workforce.
Each 90-minute live session brings together practitioners, trainers, and thought leaders to explore real-world challenges, from managing risk and fostering desistance, to embedding diversity and collaboration. Delivered by experienced facilitators with experience in the CJS, every webinar includes reflection prompts to help you take insights back into your day-to-day work.
Our series aligns fully with the HMPPS Strengthening Probation, Building Confidence (SPBC) Framework, connecting each session to national priorities for effective, ethical, and confident practice. Over a year-long cycle, each framework pillar is revisited, enabling deeper reflection and sustained professional development.
Webinars will run once a month, attend individual sessions or commit to the full series for a structured, reflective learning journey. Whether you’re new to probation or an experienced practitioner, this is your chance to connect, share experiences, and strengthen your practice.
